This week a bit of a slip of the publish button seems to have revealed a whole lot of details about the next version of Google’s Android. The dessert known as Android N, more than likely Android Nerds, or Nougat, will be launching this week as a developer preview on multiple devices. If a leak (now pulled) from Ars Technica is to be believed, this will include the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Pixel C, Nexus 9 (tablet), and a single Android One phone by the name of General Mobile 4G. Strangely enough, this is not the first time this has happened.
When the Android N Developer Preview is available, it’ll be available in one spot. UPDATE: Google appears to have made the Android N images available to developers NOW. Have a peek at the list below to see if your Nexus device is on the list.
Each of the following links leads to the Android N Developer Preview image connected to each individual device. Obviously if you load the wrong image to the device you have in your hand, one of two things will happen. One, it could just do nothing – incompatible, no worries. Two, it could brick your device. More than likely option one, but don’t take that risk.
Choose your device and load appropriately.
