Speak for yourself. As a long time Windows and Linux user, having tons of software available has always been a positive factor in my eyes, even if most of it is buggy, redundant or ill-intended.
I’ve just never felt the need for that kind of patronizing.

i doubt it. it has 40 000 apps currently and its growing daily. in fact, think back and at the one year old android software. it had only 30 000 apps. windows phone probably has the best and most creative app makers in the industry. and as for tim, i agree that most of the apps on the android market are either b-rated buggy apps or some silly picture booth, but i don’t agree with the fact that all android phones are crap, some of them actually make sense, even if they are sometimes hard to come by.

and a quick question, have you actually tried it… y’know, instead of looking at it and thinking “i don’t like that, its too different.” and then going on a blog to rave about how ‘different’ android is or how ‘different’ iOS is.

The Roid market is a cesspool of unscreened apps, most are duplicates, there is a ton of malware, and thanks to Google’s lack of attention, most of those apps are buggy and of poor quality.

Roid phones suck, the user experience sucks, and everyone I know who has them, hates them. So who gives a rip if they hit 400K of second rate buggy hand-me-down apps? No one.
