The number one issue I have on myiPad is having to routinely clear the task bar as the memory management system in iOS5 is quite poor.  NVA.
Honeycomb was not a whole let better.

I am wondering if ICS has the same issue or is the MM in ICS better?

the memory management Samsung built into my Skyrocket (2.3.5) is quite good.
