I agree with you up to a certain point. Where I disagree is, if we were to compare the Galaxy Nexus to the Galaxy S II with a magnifying glass, then the GS2 would look a lot worse, because it's a 480x800 resolution stretched to a 4.3in screen. So yes, if the GN had a 480x800 resolution display, then it would look worse, but since the resolution is so high, it'll still look better than all variants of the galaxy s 2 out today.

Well, hey, bad info is bad info....

If you need a magnifying glass to see the subpixels, guess what? Pointless. My current phone is pentile and in all honesty, it's just as good as anything else. Falling into the apple trap much? Retina is nothing but a marketing ploy. Plus, read into what Pentile is before commenting. There's (atleast) 3 different types of Pentile displays, some of which may have different issues. But to say it's only a 200 DPI screen is like calling AT&T's network 4G. It's just a flatout lie.

Also, the SGX540 used in this is circa 2010, not 2007. The one used in the original Nexus was from 2007 running at 200 MHz. The one used in this SoC is running at 384 MHz. But you probably just felt you'd spread more FUD, being an apple fanatic. Did you even bother looking at the specs for OMAP4? Probably not judging by all your incorrect information. Plus, I enjoy how the Iphone 4S uses that SGX543MP2, oh wait, it doesn't. It's more GPU than what's needed. I'll gladly take this over the Iphone 4S. And I'll take the LTE speeds to go with it. Where's the Iphone's 4G? Waiting for the Iphone 5 probably.....

Everything I've heard is that there is no SD on the GN, 16GB on board and maybe a 32GB version. Looks like a SIM slot to me, too big to be microSD anyway, and has the 6 pins sticking up corresponding to a SIM.

Here's the deal. The Nexus uses a Super AMOLED display which is based on PenTile technology as opposed the the Super AMOLED Plus display found on the SGSII which is full RGB technology. PenTile technology uses 2 subpixels instead of 3 subpixels to reduce power consumption which can cause the display not to look as crisp and have more green and blue color saturation. If you compared the Nexus to a SGSII, you might find that the SGSII display is a little better. So instead of the Nexus really having a PPI over 300 like the iPhone Retina display, it is really more like 200 PPI.

The bottom line is simply how the screen looks to you. The Nexus has a beautiful display. But it you look real close or get out a magnifying glass, you might discover that it isn't quite as good as the Apple Retina display or the Super AMOLED Plus display.

The clock speed on the TI OMAP processor can be increased so no concern there. The other issue with the Nexus along with the Razr is that they use an old school GPU circa 2007 which is the PowerVR SG540 instead of the much faster PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU that is in the iPhone 4S. Unless you are a gamer, you probably wouldn't notice much of a difference.

So I guess all GS2 have NFC but without antenna to activate it because it was equiped with a none NFC battery. hmmm.. can someone proof this theory?
