It looks like G1 owners in the U.S. are getting the Cupcake update for their G1’s pushed down over the air. The update should appear on devices soon, and there have been many reports of the update across the country. Looks like most everyone should get it today. The update brings some improved UI features, an onscreen keyboard, some widget features, and more improvements. Hit up Android Community for more information!
