tim cook is the mastermind behind apple’s awesome margins. his cornering the touch screen commodities market has given Apple a clear edge over rivals and a long term lead in the tabket space. he is the “sanity” behind the product roadmap, ensuring that software and hardware product development is in sync with manufacturing and commodities optimization. Yes, he has done nothing to define the company’s consumer image, but he has everything to do with the comapny’s financial image, which is now the headliner for most Apple articles

Think that has more to say about Steve and company, Tim Cook hasn’t really done too much yet to define the company. Plus I’d be willing to bet they’re still working through planned projects.

Anyways yeah Enderles’ article was the sort of garbage which makes reading tech sites frustrating. Click bait like Don’s articles don’t help either.

Enderle is a paid liar. He is wrong far more often than he is right, especially about Apple. He’s just a weasel. But in the web world there is no such thing as bad page views so he doesn’t care what people think. But consumer reports should take him to task for blatantly lying about what they said, but consumer reports is doing the same thing just not as badly. Anyone who owns the new iPad knows het is not actually an issue.

Sounds like Rob Enderle had (perhaps randomly) hit on very a few decent investment considerations if you are looking to buy stock, but certainly is not an oracle about the future.

Enderle’s article is the quintessential “square peg in a round hole”, whereby nothing he say’s fits with reality. Is Tim Cook another Steve Jobs? Of course not. He has never tried to be nor claimed to be. However, since he took the reins at Apple, there have been two enormously successful product launches and the company’s stock has gone up over $200/share. Meanwhile, the jury is still very much out on the resurrection of HP.

I read this moronic Enderle story this morning and was shocked by the flagrant bias. I have iPhone 4S and love it, and I have the new iPad. Returned it today…to get the 4G model (because TW Cable keeps cutting out and I need to be online, talk about a terrible company), but I digress. I went to the Apple Store on West 14th St in NYC…no trouble at all, quick, fast friendly exchange and literally 5 minutes later I was walking out the door with my “new” new iPad. It’s a great product, the customer service was brilliant and it appears to me (IMHO) Mr. Cook is doing a great job. Oh yeah, the store was packed and in the few minutes I was there I saw many, many iPads purchased.

Even without you mentioning this guy essentially works for HP his bias is massively, pathetically obvious. Vested interest, scaremongering, lies, exaggeration and juvenile penis jokes. The worst part is the slimy way he pretends to be impartial while taking literally every opportunity to paint Apple as some sort of doomed venture. I dont care much for Apple and previously certainly would not have rated them above HP but if this is the sort of person HP associates with I sure do now.

Thank you very much for your fantastic analysis. Meg Whitman said in public several times that she aspires to make HP more “Apple like” . That’s a tell as to how good a job Tim Cook is doing on all fronts. Mr Endrele’s motives are so clear now so he better stop talking because he completely lost credibility.
