My bet in the macbook world: The /new/ MacBook

There will be no Air, there will be no Pro. Just the MacBook.
The 17 inch MacBook Pro will be NO MORE.

11, 13, 15 inch models (essintally what the MacBook Air is)
1920x1080 IPS displays (at least an option, if not standard) across the lines (improved displays for all)up to 2.0 GHz dual core i7 Ultra low voltage CPU (possibly a low voltage quad core, IF there is that option for the 15 inch)
4/8GB memory
128/256GB options, 512GB upgrade for 15, possibly for 13 as well. (macbook air style)
Possibly 1/2GB 28mm graphics in the 15 inch. This is NOT want I want, this is what I'm predicting.Fewer and fewer people "need" a high performance machine, so dropping the high performance machines won't hurt, especially since the SSD's will help make the machines to appear to be more powerful.Throw away computers. That's where Apple is moving two. the above specs that I listed are "enough" for 1 or 2 years. 3 years? You may want to start looking at a new machine. BINGO. That is what Apple wants you to do. And moving to this will make people have to upgrade their machines far sooner. the question is, will they?
