Apple showed off its new Xserve featuring two dual-core Xeon processors at WWDC and LinuxWorld Conference and Expo in San Francisco a few days back. While many of us won’t have the need for this kind of processing power, it’s still nice to know what the Xserve looks like. Looking at the image, the Xserve is at the very top; followed by a PowerPC-based Xserver Cluster Node, that’s expected to be replaced by the Xeon models in October, and the last unit is an Xserve RAID storage system.
