We all knew it was coming, it was just a matter of time before Amp’d finally decided to pull the plug. According to a FAQ on their website, they’ll be cutting off their customers on Tuesday at 12:01AM.

Amp'd Goodbye

The FAQ provides answers to some important questions that you might have, such as whether or not you’ll be able to take your old phone with you, and what you’ll need to go through to get your number ported.

One thing to note is that the FAQ actually states that “Amp’d is potentially suspending US operations on July 24th.” I love how they say “potentially” as if there’s a chance that they won’t. I wouldn’t get your hopes up, just find a new carrier already.
