If you want to bring Blu-ray capability to your laptop or desktop computer, this latest offering from Amex Digital is sure capture your attention. Though targeted to MacBook users, this multi drive also works with PCs.

The Amex Portable Blu-ray Super Multi Drive lets you record Blu-ray discs all by means of a USB connection. It features Quiet Drive Technology, which lowers noise level on audio and video playback. This feature also gives a boost to writing reliability.

Other features include Liquid Crystal Tilt and a Blur Compensator. Dual and Double Layer recording also makes for almost twice the capacity that can be stored in just one layer of a Blu-ray-R disc. You can get this Super Multi Drive in black and white versions for $269.99.

    That’s a really sleek looking drive. Pretty solid, not a bad price either. I’ve actually been working with WHV on some blu-ray projects and I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on one.
