Yeah, Ultrabooks are so under priced (sarcasm). Right now Intel is barely getting companies to develop Ultrabooks, much of the money is going to just help cover the initial investment costs of many of these companies getting into making Ultrabooks. So we've yet to see any under pricing for Ultrabooks and this phase can actually benefit AMD as it covers them for the cost of getting companies set up to mass produce Ultra Thin & Light laptops.

While Intel has and continues to be taken to court for antitrust issues. Just because you don't hear about them doesn't mean they're just getting a free pass. Like Governor Andrew Cuomo filed some antitrust suit back when he was still an Attorney General, though it has been trimmed in scope but it's still going on in the courts.

Besides, any country with which Intel does business can also charge them if they use any antitrust tactics with companies in those countries, which Intel does. So it's not a America only issue. Though Europe has already posed fines on Intel, like they were charged a $1.45 Billion in Antitrust Case back in 2009.

So it depends on how far Intel goes but no one is ignoring them...

I just had a MacBook pro i5 lion with integrated graphics on the processor and I'll say the truth I sent it back because the machine just got to hot, and I mean hot. The fan was pretty loud. Forget playing minecraft the machine beats up. So I'm waiting for this new gateway that has the new AMD A6 quad-core which they claim runs cool. So I hope this gateway works out I'll see.

I'll second that. AMD has enough self inflicted problems without the US government turning a blind eye to Intel's unfair business practices.

How can AMD compete if Intel is using its mountain of monopoly cash to pay hundreds of millions to artificially underprice Ultrabooks? Companies can only get away with price distortion on this level in America.. In Europe, Intel's CEO would be jailed, and the USDOJ head of antitrust would never have been allowed to be General Counsel at Intel.
