AMD introduces its new Radeon HD 2900 pro graphic card today, a mainstream version of 2900 XT. The ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro is clocked at 600Mhz with 512MB of GDDR3 memory that runs at 800Mhz.

AMD unveiled Radeon HD 2900 Pro

The memory controller on this card supports GDDR4. It features dual-link DVI ports and expected to come with an HDMI adapter. Video input is also a notable feature on this card that will link to the on-board AMD Xileon HTTV encoder chip.

The card is CrossFire capable with DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0 compatibility. AMD has not announced the pricing of this card yet.
