The internet is a strange creature. With vast amounts of information readily available at our fingertips, we can find out nearly anything with a few keywords and clicks. Usually it turns out to be good for us, and bad for large companies that wish to keep some information private. For instance, I’m pretty sure that LucasArts didn’t want us to know about Star Wars Battlefront III just yet.
According to Amazon, this new title will be shipping (tentatively) on March 15, 2009. It will be available on all of the major platforms (PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360) except for the PC.
I am saddened by the lack of PC games coming from LucasArts these days. First the Force Unleashed, now this. Come on Lucas, throw us a bone!
