received mine yesterday…. it’s very nice. I didn’t find the automatic orientation/rotation as hair trigger as I had read in some other reviews. received the the kindle dx leather cover from amazon btw, it’s nice as well. different than the Kindle2 cover as it has a hidden magnetic closing mechanism that works pretty well, gives just about the right amount of holding tension. the amazon reviews of it make it sound sketchy, but I think it’s actually pretty good. i still have to do a side by side comparison of the screens, but it almost seems as if the DX screen has a little more contrast to it.

click the Aa button while you’re reading a book and you can toggle the autorotate on/off and set the rotation.

fyi, if you have Stanza, you can “save-as” files in kindle format and transfer via the USB cable rather than email to Amazon for conversion… pretty easy to do, and you can edit meta data (auther, title etc)
