Either people's taste have gotten worse, or I'm just an exception.

I have played around with Angry Birds, Food ninja (or whatever that came is called), that game where you feed the Caterpillar/worm, etc..

I'll NEVER drop money for those games, even $1. Why? Because I may play it for 30 minutes, if that, and never touch it again.

But, I'm more than willing to pay for quality games. Dropped $60 for it. Have over 300 hours of game time in it and I'm still enjoying it greatly and am NOT getting tired of it.

I bought several of the pokemon games. $30 to $40 apiece. Ever game (literally) has over 300 hours of play time and I occasionally break out the DS and play them more. (Don't play them as much as I used to, primarily because I don't have the time anymore).

And there are (also) other (expensive) games I have logged countless of hours on them as well.

It's probably why I rather go down to a "sit down" resturant instead of fast food. I walk away happier and more filling. And in some cases with a "cheaper" bill (overall). I'm willing to pay for quality. Not for instant gratification.
