Do I bag Apple, hell yeah. Do I dislike apple products, no, some I think are the best out there. IPad 4 for instance, best tablet out there, iPhone 5, good enough but a step back when it comes to quality. Don’t like Steve but admire his tight control on his company and products. Think apple has lost direction since Steve died. IPad mini, shit for the money. Hate apple for a couple of reasons, their arrogance when it comes down to faults in their products, the way they blatantly rip their customers off and most of all, how they just want to sue everyone just to slow the competition down. Also being patent trolls and the way they portray they invented everything. Do I go too far bashing Apple all the time, yes, but its like a sport and you follow your teams and diss everyone else. Its just a bit of fun. If anyone wants to talk seriously, I’m different. Now, faults with Android. It does stutter sometimes (talking galaxy note) typing on it is a big pain, jumps about and all kinds of shit. They need to do heaps better. The way it doesn’t resize my emails properly gives me the shits. Swype is a good idea that isn’t perfected yet. Sometimes the note is slow to respond. I don’t like how you have to reboot it every couple of days to get the best out of it. Pros..the huge screen is a dream, s pen is fantastic but there should be more that you could do with it. Freedom to do what you want with it. Like you said, pros and cons for every phone and tablet. If only all companies (looking at you apple) could work together in harmony and allow other companies to take previous ideas and better them, we would all have better phones. See, I like sensible conversations and I’m not blinded by brand. I only like what I like because I did my research and chose the best product for me, and I respect other people who do the same. A phone is only good when it is the right phone for that particular person. Sorry but I am still going to give apple shit cause its fun and I definitely don’t take it seriously, so next time you read me ragging on apple, smile, cause I’m doing it for shits and giggles. Sure I own a few apple products 4 iPads, and an iPhone, but I also own 5 Samsung TV’s. 3 Nikon Cameras, 1 Fuji camera, 2 Olympus cameras, 12 PC’s, 4 laptops all windows. HP printers, Epson printers And more junk that’s stuffed in the closet I forgot about.

I even own an android phone. All bought for specific uses.

Each product has its good points and bad, nothing is perfect.

But I don’t spend my time bashing one company again and again. and frankly that’s all you seem to post.

Why is it I never see a post of yours that bashes an Android product. are they perfect ?

I use iTunes all the time. It never stops me from laoding anything, no matter where i got it from.
I get movies from many places and they load just fine.
Have a few hundred books in epub format and they play in iBooks great.
All of my MP3′s music plays ok.
Even my audio books in mp3 format that you can get from the public library play normal.
Haven’t bought any of it from Apple, ITunes has never refused anything I have added and everything plays fine through the default players.
So whats the DRM restriction that bothers you ?

So people are saying they will pay $x amount of dollars for something they know nothing about? How is that accurate as what they imagine versus what will be released can be vastly different products in terms of design,implementation and intent? Point being they don’t know what they’re in for yet.

For the people who were surveyed, how distributed was the poll? Randomly chosen overall? Randomly chosen based on high-income? Based on owning apple products?

This point is more towards the title of the article, “almost half of consumers want an apple tv”, really? Because apparently only 11% were extremely interested, while 35% were somewhat interested. Point aside on being curious to know about a product, how do you know you know the respondents were “somewhat interested” in purchasing a hypothetical itv, rather then just wanting to know about it?

I think most of us are interested in knowing more about the fabled itv, and I’m also certain some of us will buy it regardless of cost or what it does, while the big majority will determine its value according to its price and functions.

TL;DR, sit down, this poll is meaningless until apple actually announces the product.
