Looking a little like a Chumby that’s arrived by way of the Bang & Olufsen design studio, the Emtrace WidgetStation is another CES 2007 award winner, this time of the coveted Design & Engineering Showcase Honours.  Intended to be a one-stop-shop for your clock, weather and international-time needs, it also manages to stream RSS feeds of your choice, stock information, mp3s and digital photos via your home network.  Enterprising owners can also roll their own widgets for display.

With one monochrome screen (for basic time duties) and a colour one for web-page previews, photo slideshows and anything similarly shiny, together with a number of touch-sensitive controls, the WidgetStation is scheduled to go on sale early 2007.  Price is yet to be confirmed.
