Alienware's Hanger18 Media PC is expensive HD powerhouse

Here's another one of those times where I wish I was frightfully rich, as opposed to living in a small hutch with a cellphone made of twigs and only the heat from its power adaptor to heat beans.  Alienware have announced a beast of a Media Center PC, the Hanger18, which squeezes some impressive HD hardware into a surprisingly discrete box.

Running Vista Home Premium, of course, the Hanger18 runs an low-wattage Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core CPU with up to 4GB of RAM, and comes as standard with integrated NVIDIA graphics offering 720p HDMI high-definition output, a 250GB 7,200rpm hard-drive, gigabit ethernet and dual TV combo tuners (one analog, one HD).

That'll cost you $1,999; of course the sky is the limit with options, including up to four tuners (two analog, two HD), dedicated 1080p graphics, 2TB of storage and more.
