if this doesn’t get approved for App store, it is yet another example of Innovation being stomped on by Apple . Gotta love it.

Because there are apps that are not available for IOS for example CardioTrainer

You can’t install the Google market and start downloading apps onto your ipad…this only works for apps that can be installed individually..
That’s why they said Apk. Files only.

Alien Dalvik is not intended for end-users, it’s for developers who want to support other platforms without source-porting their applications, and device manufacturers who want to offer Android apps on their devices (again only in an app-specific form IIRC).

Why would I want Android apps on my iPad. Ill go buy a xoom if I want android apps.

Remember that it won’t contain any Google apps, maps, sync or the Android market. Ndk apps unlikely to work either.
