There is a PMP from Chuwi (the Chuwi P7, if I remember right), and it actually is able to decode 1080p video off its local storage ; Display on the 800x600 screen is pleasing, as is HDMI output when the resolution is set to 720p ; Setting the HDMI output resolution to 1080p results in noticeable frame drops, through. The chips that these guys use must be pretty powerful, except that VideoOUT through HDMI lacks proper design integration with the rest of the chip.]]></description>
