ADVENT Vega Tegra Note 7 aims for UK with NVIDIA's tablet design

This week the folks at ADVENT have made clear that they're going to be the first in the world to push announcement of their version of the NVIDIA Tegra Note 7 tablet. The ADVENT Vega Tegra Note 7 works with an NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor and is headed to the UK specifically. We'll be expecting a variety of manufacturers to release their own Note 7 devices here in the United States as well – sooner than later!

The ADVENT Vega Tegra Note 7 works with a 7-inch LCD display coming in at 1200 x 800 pixels, powered by the newest in new NVIDIA Tegra processing power. You'll find Tegra 4 rolling with 72-core GeForce GPU technology and a quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU paired with a single battery-saving core. You'll be able to see a whole heck of a lot more about this processor in the SlashGear 101: Tegra 4 guide we pushed earlier this year.

The ADVENT Vega Tegra Note 7 works with NVIDIA DirectStylus technology allowing the average stylus to take some next-level steps that goes processor-deep. You'll find DirectStylus to be working with Direct Touch 2.0 technology, this allowing a cool 200 scans a second to get detail the likes of which you'll have never seen before (without a dedicated digitizer, that is). This is five times your typical 60Hz touch scan rate – if you're in to that sort of thing.

You'll also have Tegra 4-embedded NVIDIA Chimera computational photography in this tablet, allowing you the abilities we saw earlier this year on reference technology. This machine works with the first implementation of an Android-based SmugMug Camera Awesome app as well. Have a peek at Chimera here in an earlier implementation:

This machine will be available in the UK through retailers like Currys and PC World. You'll find the machine available for a surprising 179.99 pounds, aka right around $289.91 USD. We're expecting this machine to come in at right around that price range for several manufacturers here in the USA as well – stay tuned!
