Might want to rethink almost all of that post mate.

Android has been absolutely smashing ios specifically because it has flash.

An awful lot of non technical people did not realise flash was available on all other smart phones and have been leaving in droves as soon as they could. Whats more they are realising what a walled garden is and are completely pissed.

The top games in the Apple App store are flash based content, and iPad users are now realising that they have been entirely conned - again - Android is killing it.

The reality is that it was Apple who took the gamble - and are now paying a massive price - they have created their own system which is different from every other platform out there - and once people realised that Apple was not the ONLY smart phone they were / are feeling totally cheated. Apple took the gamble on cheating their users and now they are paying the price.

With the new release of flash there is going to be MASSIVE market reactions, it is simply stunning piece of kit (ive been using it for months on Beta), and Apple users are going to feel totally left behind not being able to interact with what is going to become a market dominant must have plugin (especially the new video, streaming, encryption, media rights etc), and since Apple fans are basically early adopters who are show ponies - not having access to the biggest break through on the web in ten years is going to be a massive, massive deal.

Apple will either be forced to put flash on their phones - or return to their market insignifigance of 5 years ago.

It was the right choice in 2007, it wasn't until what, early 2010 until it was finally on android?

Now it might be too late, and just sits as a platform differentiator... It's ok, apple iPad and Iphone buyers, for the most part, don't mind being without flash. Now that the public can choose comparable phones with flash, no one should complain.

What's great is that Adobe is pushing html5 hard now, and helping to shape its future.
