I consider myself a medium- to moderate-tech user. I know some ins and outs, but am not a port master or hardware master. I read a description and said, "yep - this is what i want to share out my music library to more than one PC in my house." I got the device; very easy to set up (only a few steps). But getting the device to retain the settings was a challenge. The instructions are spartan, and don't offer much in the way of explaining things if you have a not-up-the-middle question. The real rub, though, is dealing with their tech support and customer service. I wont go into the details, but in a nutshell, I had to ship my item back b/c it wasn't working properly. They gave me an RMA and *made me pay for the shipping!* Despite several civil and polite attempts to get them to reimburse me (under $10), they wouldn't - they said that it's not their policy. So, buyer beware: their policy is to sell you something but not at all stand by what they sell, since they ask you to pay to ship it back. Setup: easy; packaging: little waste; instructions: a few grammar errors (i.e., not professional) and lacking; customer service: -1 out of 10.
