Having only today spent quite some time trying to get the extended desktop functionality of Windows XP working on a laptop at work, the sight of this Matrox external multi-monitor box fills me with envy.  The TripleHead2Go Digital Edition can hook up to your desktop or laptop via either VGA or DVI output, and support three monitors at up to 1280×1024 resolution.

It should be available second-quarter of this year, for around $329.
