Here is how we can make this work:First of all, go onto the Call of Duty Elite Support page, start a chat with one of their representatives. Please don’t be rude to these guys, I work in a call centre and they are in the same boat as I am – they are just trying to make a living. In summary, you want to tell them that you are a PS3 MW3 Elite Subscriber and you feel that you have been done out by this whole situation with the map packs getting released earlier on the 360, despite paying for a premium service to ensure you get the maps early. Tell them you know they can’t do anything, but you would really appreciate it if they could give you the contact details of their HO either in address form or a telephone number. They won’t give it to you – though as a paying consumer, you have the right to this information. Accept their offer to make a complaint through them or the offer of FourTwoZero’s twitter account information to go through him. Now before closing the window, copy paste the entire chatlog into some sort of word processing software and save it. If they suggested the twitter account, copy paste the chat log onto PasteBin (Google it) and put the link on the Twitter requesting that he get back in contact with you to give you the information you originally requested. He won’t.

Before contacting through these means, I’d strongly suggest writing a letter to Activision’s HQ directly. The address is:

This applies to US and UK users, although in the UK we are going to have to wait a while for a response. The key here is to outline why you are angry and suggest these three things as a solution to the problem:

1. PS3 users get a month free put onto their subscription. When you think about it this solves the problem – they may still be getting here later, but we aren’t paying for the extra month to do absolutely nothing.

2. (Obviously if you don’t want to play the game anymore because of everything they have done) Request a full refund and let them know you will send your game via registered post back to them with information of who to make the cheque out too. They might try and give you some crap about how your subscription is active, but mention a small claims court and a lawyer (US) or Solicitor (UK) and they will soon change their tune – you are legally allowed a refund in both countries due to the fact that no where, in either the PS3 or Xbox 360 manuals for either the standard or hardened edition of the game have anything saying the one or the other will get the things you are paying for earlier or later.

3. If you are in what I imagine is the minority like me and bought it for the PS3 despite owning a 360 and didn’t know the maps came out early on the 360 and still want to play the game, request that they exchange your PS3 copy for an Xbox 360 copy. Elite works for both, so it would be a lot less hassle for them. Again if they try and say they can’t do it, mention a full refund or the lawyer and small claims court US/Solicitor in the UK and you will find that their attitudes will probably sway.

In before all the Xbox fans try and say that we should have known due to the 360 getting previous COD titles DLC’s early as there are people out there who didn’t know this – and as it wasn’t mentioned anywhere their terms and conditions are void – they have sold something that has less use on a specific system without prior notice.

We can’t make them bring the maps out quicker as they can’t legally break their contract with MS either. But we sure as hell can give them hell, make sure we get money for this inconvinience or straight out get our money back from them if you feel it is necessary. We can’t let these companies keep doing this.

Lastly, please copy and paste this to any PS3/MW3 forums and any newsposts like this relating to the game and Elite membersas you can. The more of us that do it, the better the result.
