The democratic decision has been cast. We reject ACTA. But this undemocratically instituted EU Commision won't leave it alone. They have their deals with the media corporations to fulfill so instead of throwing the law in the garbage the courts have to look at it under the false premise that it's for the people's interest. The people rejected this piece of garbage. We don't want to see it again. The EU Commision hopes to get some ruling that they can use to implement ACTA still. Democracy didn't go their way so now the Commision will be using force. Keep paying attention to this issue people. The EU Commision is not elected. They don't work for you, they work for corporations.

Amazing!!!! EU voting against ACTA???? What is going on???? I am european... but I am used to politicians serving any other interest but citizens. In Spain, we had SOPA approved and is currently in effect... My own blog has been reported... in a voluntary challenge of the law (Ley Sinde) as I have a link to a copy-righted song. Mind you, the artist who the song belong to, is against the law, so it is more of a challenge to show how useless it is... I have NOT followed ACTA in eh EU courts closely and my impresion is that it was a done deal... And that everythingh had been agreed in secretive commitees and that it would be passed without a glitch... Now I have to find out what the hell is happening in Brussells... ¿A government representing the people? ¡NO WAY .......!!!!
