Clear your mind. It was not originality promoted as an “apps friendly OS”, but the OS that at least a 100 million people could replace there 6-10lbs. laptops with and have similar if not better functionality. BUT wait, it failed, but made the Quota to keep up with I-pad. So suck it up, tweek it and get android or wait for W8 and stop complaining. A brick is a brick till you through it or add NITRO>:) Glycerin.

Ya, i did copy over moboot.zip , but i did not install it on novacom. I did place it in the Palm,Inc folder. ANYWAYS, I used the new uninstaller that came out with alpha 2 to remove android. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the help. I would like to ask one question Mike… Next time I install android, I DO NOT place moboot.zip in the Palm,Inc folder?

Did you copy over the moboot.zip? That would cause it not to boot into WebOS.

If you like paying for things that are free, not having the option of good RDP and VNC remote clients (also free for Android), and not having a decent FTP client, then ok but I think a dual boot would be awesome. I like Web OS but the functionality provided by the apps available for both android and IOS makes it much less desirable to use.

I use my TouchPad along with a Acer Iconia a500 and a Toshiba Thrive and the TouchPad blows away both with it’s wi-fi range on a daily basis..and, for the sake of posterity, I’ve tried multiple TouchPad, too…

There are a lot of reports in the HP Touchpad forum about WIF not working well, I wonder if it is fixed in the Android mode?
