Acer unveils special edition Olympics notebooks and LCD

The winter Olympics is coming up so we will soon have our fill of snowboarding, skiing, and other winter sports on TV. Acer has announced that it is releasing some special edition notebooks and a LCD to celebrate the Olympics and its involvement in the games.

Acer is offering Olympic editions of the Aspire 1810T, 4810T, 1410 and the G245H LCD. All of the equipment has the special Acer Olympic logo on the lid and the palm rest area. The specifications of the Olympic edition notebooks are the same as the standard machines of the same model.

Acer has also announced that it will be providing 6,500 pieces of computing equipment to the Olympic games along with 100 engineers and technicians to support the management of the hardware for the Olympic games. Acer is providing the Olympic games with its Veriton 1000 and TravelMate 6592 computers along with other gear.
