Acer started by buying Eten, you know, the company that makes the glofish mobile devices. Then they stated their intention to start focusing a major portion of their efforts on Ultra Mobile devices.

It’s interesting to here a company who has yet to put out a single ultra mobile device announce that they are re-focusing their efforts on that market. You’d think that they’d want to test it out and see if they were any good at it before they redirected all of their efforts to it.

However I suppose this further confirms Acer’s Eee-like PC that’s been rumored about on the Internet. Hopefully they are able to integrate Eten well and things take off for Acer in the mobile market.
