Acer has rolled out a new budget all-in-one computer aimed at entry-level shoppers called the Aspire ZC-605. This AIO features a 19.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 x 900. One of the best features of this all-in-one is going to be the price, Acer is offering the machine for $599.99. The processor is an old-school Intel Pentium 2127U dual-core unit.
The all-in-one uses a frame the can tilt from 10 to 30° for viewing comfort. Acer is withholding a few of the specifications but what we do know for now is it uses integrated Intel HD graphics, 4 GB RAM, and features 1 TB of storage space.
The machine also has an integrated SuperMulti optical drive and Dolby Home Theater v4 audio technology. Wireless connectivity includes 802.11n Wi-Fi and integrated Bluetooth 4.0. It's nice to get the integrated Bluetooth at this price point, Bluetooth 4.0 is optional on some more expensive AIOs.
Acer also integrates a one-megapixel web cam on the front capable of recording 720p video. The web cam also has an integrated single array microphone. Other features include a memory card reader, USB 3.0 ports, and a pair of USB 2.0 ports. The computer also features audio output and an HDMI output. This computer should be available online right now.
