Nice system and I wish I new about it when I bought the 8950 on Feb 1. I like my 8950 but i like the backlit keyboard of the 8951. I am on vacation and I did bring my laptop with me and I watched a 2 hour movie and had 50% battery left.

In your article you mentioned that it comes pre-loaded with Win7 Home premium, but your tests results show Win7 Ultimate. How is that?

Did you upgrade windows before doing tests?

This site says the laptop has issues with the turbo boost feature. Supposedly, the cpu doesn’t really hold the boosted frequency and drops down to even below 2ghz, slowing the machine down especially in games. Can you please comment on that?
Also, they claim the display is really bad. True? I don’t expect it to be great but it should be adequate at very leas…t
