Great comparison and nice comparison pictures. This was the reason I bought the P4. It did everything you said in the review. I really want to get the keyboard and mouse but it works alright with a regular USB mouse too. Very happy with my purchase.

Russell, just ran through the website and they carry the P3 which is a bit smaller but has an HDMI port.

Just got one of these a couple of days ago. Support for 1280×800 VGA input has been removed in the latest firmware. Pass through for any external 16×9 content now gets double shrunk, to 4×3 then to 16×9! So of that native resolution you’re only using 640×360 pixels, and instead of 80 lumens, you’re only using about 50.

I had a chance to talk to some guys from AAXA while I was wandering central hall at CES while my team was taking a break from building our booth. Since I own a P4 I asked them why there was no HDMI. Their response was “A P4 model with HDMI is coming soon”. In fact they said there should be a prototype P4 with HDMI sometime this week at the show.

1280×800 is a max resolution, native is still
854×480! And where is HDMI port? No impressed!

wow you are right. If you watch my unboxing video again when I show the back and list some specs it clearly states 20,000.

My box says 20,000 but site says 15,000. I’ll double check and update you.

I wondering if this is a good option for using as a regular tv. Flat screens can get expensive and I read that this projector can go up to 80″. How does it look at 80″? I wish it had hdmi cause my phone goes by that. It would be between this and the playstation tv. The playstation tv would probably be better in everything except for size.
