It might shock you to hear this but, despite the number of people you see everyday browsing the supermarket shelves with bluetooth headsets clamped to their ears, not everybody wants to look like a runner-up in the “Pretty Pathetic Star Trek Costume” competition. The small minority who would like to retain what palsied shred of dignity they have might therefore be interested in infoSync World’s review of the Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970, a lanyard-style headset replete with screen and mp3 transport controls.

HBH-DS970

At €125 (which works out to an amount of dollars somewhere between 7 and 5,246) it’s at the higher end of the market, and it doesn’t even come with a removable analogue clock. If you can look past that then maybe this is the dangly it-has-wires-but-is-wireless headset for you.
