I basically didn't have to charge the battery the ENTIRE week, but I did have it plugged into the computer via USB a few times - reports are that this doesn't charge the device, but I'm skeptical. Wifi on vs off was basically the same exact experience minus the ability to download new materials. I checked out the brightness options, but ended up keeping it at out-of-box settings the entire time I used it as they were perfectly fine. Last question I've got no idea, but I don't think they'll be upgrading to a new version of Android any time soon, as basically the entire UI is B&N created.

You also did not comment much on the battery. How was it over the course of the week? How was it with the WiFi on vs. off? What was the brightness set at? If B&N does upgrade to a new version of Android, how will that affect the battery?
