Unfortunately, the numbers you’re quoting here have no factual merit: there is no statistic I’m aware of that openly tracks foreign terrorists. If that’s not true, please feel free to repost with links to those numbers? Otherwise, you’re riding a lot of truthiness here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truthiness

While we’re on the topic though, there have been considerable issues in the United States over the past 30 years regarding domestic terrorists; most of them, unfortunately, fitting a demographic you’re arguing against:

My point is, what you assume to be a majority seems to be bias; I’m not sure if that bias comes from spending more time watching tv versus reading, or if you’ve dedicated your opinions on friends and family without verifying this information. It’s not as sensational, that’s very true, but it’s a real threat… it’s quite possible that simply, considering race and religion, it just may not be your threat.

Oh come on- enough with the trying to be PC here- 99.9 percent of terrorists are the opposite of the description you wrote, no matter how you try to spin it. They are not Midwestern or white-unless by Midwestern you mean from the Middle East! I don’t care if that’s not PC. It’s simply fact- statistics don’t lie and I’m so tired of seeing people do anything they can to dance around the truth. You probably have one Timothy McVeigh to every 500,000 muslim extremists blowing each other up around the world.

Hahahaha.. Had a good laugh (apart form those old BOFH ones from elsewhere! and the first h2g2) after a very long time.. And very true about the full body massage though.. My dad who was wheel chair bound (who used to have body massage quite often) wanted a second go! :-) Well done, Phil.. Greatly appreciated.

The writer would just think she was safe until “It” happened.
A young friend was pulled out of line because he had a large packet of gum in his pocket and the wrapping set off an alarm, while at the same time I went through the line with a razor sharp knife I my pocket because I forgot to remove it.
And remember they are fighting last years war, defending against things that happened in the past.

yes a great article, I can see how flying will be much safer, maybe if we fly naked the plane will never have mechanical failure, which happens much more often then when a freedom fighter, er terrorist attacks, better yet, let become a country that know one feels they need to attack
