We talked about the eReaders from Dulin back in March when they first tipped up. The books stirred some controversy when first announced when they claimed worldwide distribution deal was in place with ODM Netronix. Dulin has announced that its PocketBook 360 and PocketBook 301+ are now available for purchase in the US.

The remainder of Toshiba’s new notebook line may not get touchscreens like the M505 Touch and U505 Touch, but you can’t accuse the company of missing out any particular niche.  The Windows 7 update gets applied across the board, with the Toshiba Mini NB205 netbook getting Win 7 Starter and either 160GB or 250GB storage (MRSP from $399.99), all the way up to the 18.4-inch Satellite P500 with a choice of Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Turion II CPUs, optional Blu ray and harmon/kardon speakers (MRSP from $799.99).

Dell’s Adamo is admirable for a Windows ultraportable, but when they snuck glances over at Apple’s notebook range they really should’ve stopped before they got to the prices.  $1,999 was simply more than most people were willing to pay; happily Dell have finally realized that, and cut the entrance price to their Adamo range to $1,499.

Rumors have been circulating for some time now that RIM would be giving their upcoming BlackBerry Onyx smartphone an optical trackpad, and now a live photo of the device seems to confirm that it does indeed depart from the traditional trackball.  From RIM’s perspective the optical version is better as it requires no moving parts, is less likely to clog up with finger gunk, and should reduce in-warranty repairs.
