Sapphire glass; you want it, Apple wants it, but their partner couldn’t deliver. In the long, slow burn that is GT Advanced, there are very few winners. Hundreds out of work, GTAT is now in bankruptcy court, and Apple is left searching for another Sapphire partner, which probably delays the material seeing your phone (and could delay the Apple Watch). Apple and GTAT have settled their business relationship, which is now available for all to view. Save for one small redaction, we get a bit of insight about GTAT biting off more than it could chew.

Lindsay Lohan suit over GTA V beefed up by legal team

Lindsay Lohan is one of those celebrities that are better known for self-imploding than for her acting these days. One of the things that gamers might know her for is her legal campaign against Take-Two Interactive over what she claims is her likeness used in promotional materials for the game without her consent. The original legal complaint was a 10-page offering and her legal team has now beefed up that complaint by filing a new 67 page document with courts.

Apple Watch may be in short supply as GTAT goes bankrupt

You may not have heard of the manufacturer GT Advanced Tech (GTAT or just "GT"), but Apple is certainly keeping a close eye on the lot right this minute. GT Advanced Tech is the primary supplier of Sapphire Glass to Apple, having been part of a $578 million dollar purchase of the material from GT in advance of production in late 2013. Apple and GT also have an Arizona-based facility dedicated to Sapphire glass made specifically for Apple’s future products. One of those products is the Apple Watch, of course.

If we didn’t know better, we’d guess that this Grand Theft Auto 5 video was created with Valve’s Source engine. Instead, modded XBLToothPik suggests he’s working with a modded Xbox 360 and the original Grand Theft Auto V to create a first-person experience for the game.
