If you’re a Fallout 3 gamer then you’ll likely know that the Pip-Boy 3000 is the wrist-mounted computer used to deliver game stats.  A collectible clock version of the computer was included as part of the Fallout 3 Survival Edition set, and that’s just what one enterprising modder chose to gut and stuff his iPod touch inside.

Today at the last MacWorld expo Phil Schiller started off with details on the newest installment of iLive, iLive 09. The first portion that was announced is the addition of more “events” in iPhoto such as Faces. This feature uses face recognition to identify people in photos and then pick that particular person out of photos in your album. You can also create an auto-corkboard of people in which you can then tag people to identify who they are. From there you can confirm the different people that Faces finds for you.

Much anticipated Xbox 360 game Fallout 3 has already appeared on BitTorrent and Usenet file sharing sites, three weeks in advance of its official release.  The 6.52GB file requires a modified Xbox 360 to run; currently there’s no sign of the PC or PS3 versions of the title for download.  Early figures suggest 2,500 gamers on one BitTorrent portal alone have already downloaded Fallout 3.

I rarely have trouble finding a game on release day unless it’s something crazy-big, and even then it usually just takes wandering into Walmart or Meijer and grabbing it. So what crazy free goodies are you going to get for pre-ordering Fallout 3 at GameStop? You’ll be getting 5 free tracks from the game.

By Chris on Tuesday, Apr 22nd 2008 No Comments

When you know that a major game will be coming out, you’ll usually wait around for a demo to come out a short while before the actual game does. You’ll usually get enough of a taste of the game to leave you wanting more, and thus play it over and over. However, if you’re hoping for a demo of Fallout 3, you can stop, because it isn’t happening.

Fallout 3When you play a game, you expect there to be one ending. (No, throwing your controller through the TV in frustration does not count as an ending). Sure, some games do give you a chance to experience different endings based on the choices you make throughout the game. However, even in these games you’re limited to a few at best. Not Fallout 3 though, it’s got more ways to finish than you can shake a stick at.

According to a recent podcast with Bethesda’s Todd Howard, there are more than 200 possible endings. No, that’s not a typo, there really are two zeros on that number.
