Talking about AppleTV2 which runs iOS, no boxee yet for AppleTV2, however someone got plex running, but requires your computer transcode in realtime for appletv to play, not my idea of a real solution, but I guess its better than nothing.

Now if you could easily erase that iPhone OS and install XBMC, then I would buy 4 of them. They are most likely selling them at a loss so they can make money from the iTunes store sales.

now then, how long until they phase out imac in favor of something ipad-like?

also, i wonder if we will hear about games that use iphone/ipod touch as gamepads. That is, if this appletv get app store access at all.
