The iPad is selling in droves and other tablets are finally starting to hit the market for the shopper that wants some tablet action, but now on the iOS platform. Today a couple new tablets have surfaced in London getting official for the first time from Creative.
The new tablets are the Ziio 7-inch and 10-inch units and they share many of the same features. The common features between both include support for tons of audio formats, Android 2.1 OS, Android Pure Audio tech derived from X-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, WiFi, HD outputs, internal speaker, an accelerometer, and a microSD card slot. The tablets also have a 3.5mm headphone port and a miniUSB port.
The 7-inch version has a 400 x 840 resolution capacitive touchscreen and is white. It sells for 199 pounds in 8GB or 219 pounds for the 16GB version. The black 10-inch Ziio tablet sells for 249 pounds in 8GB and 269 pounds in 16GB form. Both should be available to purchase in December.
