It wasn’t too long ago I was writing about this vest as just a concept, well now its come to live and you can buy one. The list of games it works with has even expanded to include some titles you might recognize such as Call of Duty and Dead or Alive.

camo

Essentially there are pouches of air that rapidly inflate and deflate on the vest when you get “shot, stabbed, jacked, hit with a bat or beat up”. Maybe actually feeling it when you get hit might make your ass more likely to move.

“Look alive men!” the vest is available in the camo you see here or black, which would be more in line with urban/tactical teams. If you want one, it’ll cost you $169, and if you are a developer, there is also an SDK for the vest, currently I believe it only works with PCs, so for now, console gamers need not apply.
