3DMark 11 gets an update to version 1.01

Geeks all around the world were excited when Futuremark's latest version of 3Dmark landed earlier this month. There were a few early issues with the benchmarking app that might have soured things a bit for some geeks and a new update has been posted to fix some of those issues.

Futuremark has a new patch out that brings 3DMark 11 to version 1.01. The update fixes issues across all versions like a problem with SystemInfo that stopped Physics and Combined tests from running. Letterbox scaling now works with wide displays, and automatic update notification has been added among other fixes.

The advanced and pro versions get an option for manual GPU count selection. A scaling mode has been added. In addition, the results tab offers individual scores for each test. The Pro version gets exclusive updates with audio working from command line and new quality tool enhancements. You can download the update here.
