2015 Lincoln Navigator gets 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost power

Lincoln Motor Company has unveiled the first details about the all-new 2015 Navigator. The new Navigator is the largest of the Lincoln SUVs that are available from the luxury automaker. The car will make its official world debut on February 6 at the Chicago Auto Show.

The 2015 Navigator is refreshed on the inside and the outside with a new engine as well. The Navigator will be powered by a 3.5L EcoBoost twin turbo V6 engine providing power and fuel efficiency. The new SUV gets a redesigned front end and hood with the familial style of the split Lincoln grille that is present on other Lincoln vehicles. The rear of the vehicle is also redesigned.

The Navigator gets LED lights and HID adaptive headlights with LED accents. The vehicle comes standard with 20-inch wheels and has a Reserve package option featuring 22-inch wheels and other features to up the luxury level of the car. There will be a standard length version of the vehicle measuring 207.4-inches long and an extended length version measuring 222.3-inches long.

Inside the new Navigator gets leather on all three seating rows, armrests, and the center console. The instrument panel is wrapped in leather as well. The interior also gets Ziricote wood trim, which is a new natural-grain wood for the automotive market. The SUV also has two-second row options with a bench seat or two captain's chairs. The 5.4L V8 is replaced with the 3.5L EcoBoost and a six speed automatic transmission. The engine will produce at least 370hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Pricing for the Navigator is unannounced and the car will enter producing this summer and hit showrooms this fall.
