I had to say something after reading all these comments...I sell Cadillacs. The iPad thing is juts wierd you dont need it. I was in Dallas recently for a Definging Moment XTS convention and got to put my hands on 6 brand new Cadillac XTS models. The CUE system is meant to work just like the devices you use today. IT IS NOT HARD. you just swipe, poke pinch, etc...Even raising and lowering volume can be done with a swipe. The seat actually vibrates to alert you of impending dangers(cars in your blind spot while reversing). Andriod users; your media (pandora and such)and phone info will stream seamlessly with the CUE system, iphone users still need to tether it via usb cable. And voice recognition, look out, its as simple as saying, i wanna listen to the 80's on 8. No commands, its natural voice recognition. It will even learn an individuals dialect!
When you combine this amazing CUE system, with the rest of this incredible car, its going to be a game changer. Just drive one.

This would be more interesting if it were integrated in the dash somehow.

But hey, neat. At a wholesale cost of less than $350, including an iPad as an interactive manual is smart. The regular manual and DVD kits are fairly expensive to produce in-and-of themselves.

Children almost always have a sway in family vehle choice. If I were a kid I would definitely be pushing for the car with the free iPad.
