The HSPA+ capable T-Mobile myTouch 4G has gone on sale in the US, priced at $199.99 with a new contract. Four color versions are on offer – black, white, red or plum – with the contract-free handset coming in at $449.99.
You’ll obviously need a data plan to go with it, which is $30 on top of a $49.99 per month or higher voice/messaging plan. If you opt for contract-free, you can have web, talk and text from $59.99 per month instead.
The myTouch 4G has a 3.8-inch touchscreen, runs Android 2.2 Froyo and gets T-Mobile’s customized version of HTC Sense including Nuance-powered voice recognition. There’s also WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, while a front-facing video camera can be used for video calls.
