I can’t believe how many iPod docking stations there are. It’s crazy but I do suppose you must make something for everyone. Electro is putting out one that kind of resembles some “anatomy”. It’s symmetrical shape is actually made up of two speakers and two CD players.

You also get AM/FM radio capabilities and what good would it be without a remote and clock functions? Oh, with the input jack you could listen to other audio sources as well, if you wished.

This dock cost just under $200. Personally, that’s a more than I’d be willing shell out for the thing but I’m sure it suits all the listening and “viewing” needs of some one out there.

This is something Marty Mc Fly would have picked up on his time trip to 2007 to take back to show Doc Brown:

“Look, Doc-those new Compact Discs they’ve been talking about will still be the preferred music storage system of the 21st Century!”

“But Marty, what’s that little box in the middle?”

“I dunno, Doc. Hey, check out those dual CD drives! Think of it! Between the two of them, this unit can hold 20-30 songs!! This thing is SO 2007!!!”

    “But that little box, Marty……”

“Not important, Doc! Now, where do you think we can buy some of those new CD’s? Sam Goody? Tower Records? Rose Records? Music +? The Wherehouse? Think of it! 20-30 songs! Do you think they’ll have Rush “2112″?”
